Eid-el-Adha: Owoyale Sends Sallah Message To Muslim Faithful, Emir of Ilorin

A youths stakeholder in  Kwara State chapter of All Progressives Congress, (APC), Alh. Hassan Ademola Owoyale has congratulated Muslims in the state as they join other faithful around the world to celebrate this year's festive season, urging them to imbibe the virtues of displaying piety, fostering unity and peaceful co-existence.

The chairman of 02 liberation movement said the occasion of Eid-el-Adha is a symbolic event that preaches obedience, commitment and submission to the commands of Allah as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim who offered his son in sacrifice to God.

The statement reads "I congratulate all Muslims across Kwara State especially Ilorin Emirate on the privilege of witnessing this auspicious occasion which offered us lessons on selflessness, sacrifice, tolerance, endurance and willingness to make a personal sacrifice.

"As we celebrate this joyful occasion, we must strengthen our faith in God and pray for divine intervention in the dreadful security situation as well as restoration of peace to the ravaged areas.

"The significance of Eid-el-Kabir should not be lost on us as Muslims even as we count our blessings and celebrate the goodness of Allah in our lives” 

"While wishing everyone a hitch-free Sallah celebration, I use this medium also to felicitate with our father, His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari (CFR) and fellow sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate on this year edition of Durbar coming up tomorrow at the forecourt of our Emir's Palace. May we celebrate more of it in life." The message concluded.
