Eid-el-Kabir: Oloriegbe Felicitates Muslims Ummah, Preach Adherence To Lessons Inherent In The Celebration

The Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe has felicitated with Muslim Ummah across the nation particularly the people of his constituency as they join fellow faithful in the world to celebrate this year's Eid-el-Kabir. 

The Senator enjoins constituents to imbibe the virtues exemplified by the prophet which bordered on love, tenderness, tolerance, selfless service to God and humanity and dedication to virtuous conducts.

According to him "I congratulate Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year's Sallah celebration. We must reflect on the essence of the season which espouses unity, harmonious coexistence, tolerance and sacrifice. 

"To be faithful in our celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, we must commit ourselves to values that place a high premium on human life and eschew tendencies that are capable of jeopardizing the stability and tranquillity in the state.

"We should adhere to the teachings of the Prophet Ibrahim (ASW) by demonstrating obedience to the Will of Allah and showing love and tenderness to one another.

"While praying for a happy Sallah celebration, we should ensure strict adherence COVID-19 protocols as the pandemic is still much with us."

The Lawmaker pledges his commitment to representation that will set his constituency on the irreversible path of progress and foster the economic prosperity of the state.
