MTN Is Giving Nigerians Free Airtime, SMS To Celebrate Independence Day

The leading and giant telecommunications company in Africa, MTN stands for Mobile Telephone Network. 

Mobile Telephone Network (MTN); a South Africa-based multinational mobile telecommunications company, operating majorly in African countries including Nigeria has rolled out promotional incentives to Nigerians to celebrate and mark the 62nd Independent day of the country.

 

In an official communication seen by 9japarrot Media, MTN gave all her Nigerian users free national call minutes and sms to celebrate independence day.

The statement seen reads; 

Happy Independence day in advance.

Please be informed that  MTNN will be offering customers a Free National Call on their first call of the day for up to 6 minutes 20 seconds and 62 National SMS for FREE on Saturday, 1st October 2022. 

This is offer is to commemorate and celebrate Nigeria @62.

The statement added, please note;

• All new and existing Customers will be allowed to enjoy this offer on 1st October 2022 ONLY, between 00:01 am and 11:59 pm.

• Customers can use the free minutes/SMS to call/text National numbers (on-net and off-net numbers) ONLY.

• The free minutes will not be accumulative. i.e. if a customer makes the first call of the day for 10secs and ends the call, then the remaining 370secs will be forfeited and subsequent calls will be charged at the rate applicable for his/her tariff plan.

• Any unused free minute(s)/SMS after 11.59 pm on October 1st, 2022 will be forfeited.
