2023: APC Senatorial Aspirant Lauds Saraki's Uniqueness In Party Resolution and Conflict Management

A former Senatorial Aspirant and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Kamardeen Olayinka Kadiri has declared support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi ahead 2023 general elections.

Hon Kamardeen Olayinka Kadiri disclosed this on Thursday while featuring on Media Parley with members of the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) at D'Oscar Hotel Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

The Oro-born politician said Yaman possesses leadership qualities, experience, knowledge, and capacity to put Kwara State on the path of progress when elected. 

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress from Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State Honourable Kmardeen Olayinka Kadiri on Thursday while hosting the Association of Kwara Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) officially announced his defection to the major opposition party in the state, PDP. 

Kamal, a frontline businessman and a former senatorial aspirant under APC in Kwara South said that his defection was motivated by the continued below-average performance of APC in the State. 

"APC as a party is in shambles in our dear State. The APC-led government has also deviated totally from all they promised Kwarans before the 2019 elections. As a true son of Kwara South, I cannot keep quiet and allow mediocrity to continue to fester".

Kamal when asked to describe who Abubakar Bukola Saraki is as a Leader of PDP in the state, said Saraki is a great political strategist who's keen to listen to the yarn of the people. He added that Saraki is a great team player who carries all members along, He cited an example with the just concluded primary election of the party in Kwara State where He noted that Saraki didn't influence the primaries in any scenario in favor of anybody. Saraki acted in the interests of all party members and that's why the PDP in the state has maintained peace within unlike the APC who have gone into rancho after the primaries with a lot of court cases.

Hon. Kamal added that he has moved to the PDP alongside his beloved supporters. "I am now in PDP. I am enlightened now as I have the opportunity to listen and work closely with both former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdullahi, the PDP gubernatorial candidate".

Kadiri while giving reasons for dumping the ruling APC said Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is not getting both party management and governance right.

He noted that he will be working with PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate, Hon Gbenga Makanjuola to deliver the seven local government areas in Kwara South Senatorial district for Yaman and other PDP candidates.

He also unveiled Sienna buses branded for the PDP Governorship Candidate, promising to provide more campaign materials such as posters, billboards, and T-shirts among others.
