A popular grassroots mobilizer and young politician, Barrister Joseph Titilope Akogun has concluded his plan to dump the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) party for the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
This is coming in less than 2 months to the forthcoming 2023 general election and less than 24 hours after the official Presidential campaign flag off by the ruling party, APC in the state's capital, Ilorin.
In his official communication with 9japarrot Media regarding this development, the Omu Aran born young politician who is also a Legal Practitioner said he has just resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress in a letter dated 17th January, 2023 and submitted to his Ward Chairman in Omu Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area, Kwara State.
Akogun known for his philanthropic gestures and his advocacy for Sustainable Youth Empowerment said he resigned from the ruling APC party on the basis of the party “lacking recognition for quality” and “non compensation of hard work”.
The grassroot mobilizer who is always passionate about the development of his region is set to be received into the Peoples Democratic Party by the leadership of the party in Kwara South at a reception billed for Friday 20th January, 2023.
I wish this Akogun joined SDP instead.
