Ahead Re-election, Adamawa CP host DIG supervising North east geopolitical zone, Assure of Peaceful Polls

 As part of his determination to ensure stability of security in the State as well as to provide a conducive environment for the conduct of Suplementary, 2023 Gobanotprial and State House of Assembly Elections, the Adamawa State Commissioner of Police Election, *CP Muhammed Ahmed Barde,* played host to DIG Ali Aji JANGA, who arrived into the state.

Among those hosted by the CP today been Friday 14th April, 2023 includes; the Visiting Senior Police officers, Divisional police officers, Operational/Tactical Commanders, Sister Security Agents.

The meeting was organized by the Police Boss, ahead of the Supplementary Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly Elections billed to hold on 15/4/2023, with a view to ensuring a level playing ground for hitch exercise. 

The Command were able to strenghtened existing synergy, actionable intelligence sharing and carrying out of joint and various strategic planning as well as execution of operations.

More so, the Heads of security agencies discussed on the collaboration between the Inter- Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security and Intelligence sharing, Collation and dominating of public space for swift responses on security threats to democracy.

CP Barde, disclosed that modern security architecture requires Constant synergy and interactions with other sister agencies, saying that their effort is to ensure that INEC Personnel, Materials and Facilities are giving adequate protection that is required.

According to him, the police command needs the support of other agencies to put its resources together to deliver on it's mandate in providing an enabling environment.

During the meeting they assessed the previous Security Deployment, capacity of the Personnel, Restriction of Movement, identified the shortfalls and proffered solution to the shortfalls and also prepare ahead of the challenges.

The Police Boss warned Miscreants to distance themselves from the Electoral process and applauded the citizens for making Policing easy, and reassured them of the commitment of the police command to serve them better.
