Kwara Govt Issues Public Advisory On Anthrax Outbreak

The Kwara State Government has issued a public advisory on the outbreak and spread of anthrax, a deadly bacteria that has been reported in neighboring countries. 

The advisory, which was designed by the Kwara State Ministry of Health, provides an overview of the bacteria, its mode of transmission, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, prevention, and control. It also includes contact information for relevant health workers.

The ministry is issuing the advisory because Kwara State shares international borders with affected countries, and its citizens could be at risk.

The advisory urges residents to be aware of the signs and symptoms of anthrax and to seek medical attention immediately if they think they may have been exposed.
