Rukayat Shittu Commiserates With Kwara Assembly Speaker, Clerk Over Brother's Death

The member representing Owode/Onire Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Youth, Sport, Information, Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu, has commiserated with the Speaker of KWHA, Rt. Hon Yakubu Danladi and clerk of the house, Hajia Jummai Kperogi over the death of their brother, Hon Mohammed Salihu, a former Executive Chairman of Baruten Local Government Council who died of Thursday evening after a brief illness. 

According to the statement issued on Friday morning, Rukayat urged the Speaker and clerk to be comforted by the good life that their late brother lived and continue to pray for the repose of his soul.

The statement reads; “My heart goes out to KWHA Speaker, Clerk, families, and friends of the family on the demise of their son, brother, father, and grandfather, Hon. Mohammed Salihu answered the ultimate call Thursday, June 15, 2023.

“On behalf of Owode/Onire Constituency I express my heartfelt condolences to the entire families and friends of Hon Salihu.

May God grant the soul of the departed eternal rest and the families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”

The deceased who was until his death, the Ciroma of Gwanara Emirate is survived by siblings, wives, children and grandchildren.
