Kwara-Born Michaels Olatunde Launches Wedding Channel On DSTV

Michaels Olatunde Oyeyiola, who was the former GM of Kwara TV is set to launch the first Africa’s 24-hour wedding TV channel on DSTV Channel 176. 

The Wedding Channel, which is set to be aired on DSTV Channel 176 will showcase the beauty of weddings and promote lifestyle, fashion and culture.

Michaels is versed and renowned for his expertise in the African modern multimedia industry. He has a diploma in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Lagos State University. He has worked on many big projects in the past. The most recent is the reviving of the Kwara Television. Under the leadership of Michaels as the GM of Kwara TV, he was able to revive the moribund Kwara TV, and successfully switch on 24-hour live transmission for the first time in the history of the state. This feat also made Kwara TV the only TV station in the state offering 24-hour live transmission. Through Michaels resilience, the station also made history by debuting on StarTimes, Channel 113 and Free TV Channel 502. 

Also, Michaels has delivered on some breathtaking projects with Soundcity TV and Trace TV

The launching is expected to take place today, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, by 10:00 am at the Ebony Life Place on 1637 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. 

The launching will be graced by the crème de la crème in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
